Myler Comfort Snaffle
EPB-01
Made of stainless steel with copper inlay.3 1/4" 3
1/2", 3 3/4", 4"
With pressure on both reins, uses pinch and restrict with a
release, restricts the tongue and collapses on the bars. The center
barrel puts concentrated downward pressure onto the tongue. Each
side of the mouthpiece moves independently, allowing the driver to
lift one side off the tongue to the bar.
USAGE: The Myler Comfort Snaffle mouthpiece is an excellent
alternative to a regular, nutcracker like snaffle. Unlike a regular
snaffle, it features independent side movement allowing the driver
to isolate one side and lift the shoulder. Working primarily off
the tongue and bars, the comfort snaffle is useful for bending and
balancing the beginning horse.

Myler Ported Comfort Snaffle
EPB-04 Made of
stainless steel with copper inlay. 3 1/4", 3 1/2", 3 3/4", 4"
With pressure on both reins, uses pinch and restrict with a
release-restricts the tongue and collapses on the bars. The center
barrel puts downward pressure into the tongue. Not as much as EPB
01. Each side of the mouth piece moves independently, allowing the
driver to lift one side off the tongue to the bar.
USAGE: The Myler Ported Comfort Snaffle mouthpiece is an excellent
alternative to a regular, nutcracker like snaffle. Unlike the
regular snaffle, it features independent side movement allowing the
driver to isolate one side and lift the shoulder. Working primarily
off the tongue and bars, the ported comfort snaffle is useful for
bending and balancing the beginning horse.

Myler Hinged Bristol Barrel
EPB-40
Made of stainless steel with copper inlay. 3 1/4", 3
1/2", 3 3/4", 4"
Uses pinch and restrict with a release-restricts the tongue and
collapses the bars. Releases pressure when horse relaxes at the
poll. Each side of mouthpiece moves independently.
USAGE: The Myler Hinged Bristol Barrel mouthpiece is an excellent
bit to move up from the snaffle. Independent side movement allows
the driver to isolate one side and lift the shoulder. This
mouthpiece is useful for bending, balancing and for horses which
invert.

Myler Hinged High Port Bristol
Barrel EPB-HP40
Made of stainless steel with copper inlay. 3 1/4" in.3
1/2", 3 3/4", 4"
Uses pinch and restrict with a release-restricts the tongue and
collapses the bars. Releases pressure when horse relaxes at the
poll. Each side of mouthpiece moves independently. Same as EPB-40
but with a higher port.
USAGE: The Myler Hinged High Port Bristol Barrel mouthpiece is an
excellent bit to move up from the snaffle. Independent side
movement allows the driver to isolate one side and lift the
shoulder. This mouthpiece is useful for bending, balancing and for
horses which invert.

Myler Mullen Barrel
EPB-32 Made of stainless steel with
copper inlay. 3 1/4", 3 1/2", 3 3/4", 4"
Puts pressure on the tongue and corners of
the bars. Each side of mouthpiece moves independently. Turns into
solid mouthpiece when asking to stop.
USAGE: The Myler Mullen Barrel mouthpiece is a good choice for the
intermediate horse. With the strength of the solid Mullen mouth,
this bit encourages the horse to break at the poll, but keeps him
from getting behind the bit, or inverting. The independent side
movement allows the driver to isolate one side and pick up the
shoulder.

Myler High Port Barrel
EPB-HP32 Made of stainless steel with
copper inlay. 3 1/4", 3 1/2", 3 3/4", 4"
High Port version of the EPB-32. Not as
much pressure on the tongue.
USAGE: The Myler Mullen Barrel mouthpiece is a good choice for the
intermediate horse. With the strength of the solid Mullen mouth,
this bit encourages the horse to break at the poll, but keeps him
from getting behind the bit, or inverting. The independent side
movement allows the driver to isolate one side and pick up the
shoulder.

Myler Correctional Low Ported
Barrel EPB-43LP
Made of stainless steel with copper inlay. 3 1/4", 3
1/2", 3 3/4", 4"
Rolls downward onto the tongue and bars. No
palate pressure. With the tongue pressure before tongue relief, the
port encourages relaxing at the poll. Does not collapse on the bars
nor pinch the tongue. Turns into a solid mouthpiece when asking for
a stop. Each side of mouthpiece moves independently. Offers tongue
relief and releases when the horse relaxes at the poll.
USAGE: The Myler Correctional Low Ported Barrel offers a "comfort
zone" when the horse is relaxed at the poll. With independent side
movement, the 43LP works well for lifting a shoulder, bending,
collection and stopping. It is a choice for the spoiled horses and
those needing encouragement to relax at the poll or lift a
shoulder.
