Measuring for a
harness: All
of our harnesses are very adjustable so there is only two sizes Size A
mini (30-34") and Size B mini (34-38"). If you are in doubt
as to which size take two measurements.
1. Girth (around the belly
about 2" behind the front legs).
2. Head (corner of mouth up over
the pole behind the ears to other corner of the mouth). Note if your
mini is under 30" take the measurements and call we do custom
sizes if necessary.
About our harness:
All of our harnesses are American made. Everything is stitched and
padded where necessary to enhance the comfort of the horse. We have
tested and used all of the harnesses on our own mini’s so we can
bring you the best fitting harness available. Most of the harnesses
are equipped with overcheck bridles that convert into side check
bridles. This is an added benefit when you are driving more than one
horse as they sometimes require different check systems. We use brass
or chrome hardware. All harnesses are complete with bit and
ready to use.

Premier Rolled Show Harness
This is the finest show
harness made. It is crafted from the finest leather using the smallest
buckles possible. It comes complete with a rolled bridle that converts
easily from overcheck to sidecheck.. The reins
are two tone (rolled black with brown ends) with buckle ends and a
buckle to hook them together. The traces are rolled and buckle to the breastcollar that is complete with a loop for the martingale.
The
martingale is rolled with a snap to hook it to the girth. Patent
leather is added to the blinds and backsaddle. Accent trim on browband,
caveson, breastcollar, and backsaddle. Choice of trim gold,
burgundy, red, or black. Choice of hardware brass. No breeching.

Rolled Show harness
This harness is similar to SLT 320, except it is not quite
as refined. This is a great harness for the show ring. It
comes complete with a rolled bridle that converts easily
from overcheck to sidecheck. The reins are two tone (rolled
black with flat brown ends). The traces are rolled and
buckle to the breastcollar that is complete with a loop for
the martingale.Patent leather is added to
the blinds and backsaddle. No breeching. Accent trim is on
the browband, caveson, breastcollar, and backsaddle. Choice of trim:
gold, silver, burgundy, red, black, purple or blue.

Basic Show harness
This harness has all the trimmings. It
is great for just getting started. The bridle is convertible
from overcheck to sidecheck. The reins are buckle on, black
with russet ends. Accent trim on the browband, caveson, and
backsaddle. The biggest difference between the SLT 318 and
319 is the breastcollar. The SLT 318 breastcollar and traces
are one piece. Choice
of trim: black, gold, silver, red, burgundy, purple, and
blue.

Leather Driving Harness

Nylon Driving Harness
Great training or starter harness. Made of
black nylon reinforced with leather at the stress points. Complete
with overcheck bridle, bit, caveson, snap on reins, backsaddle,
breastcollar, buckle on traces, and breeching. The backsaddle and
breastcollar are covered with black felt to pad the pressure points.

Betathane Harness
Betathane is a synthetic material that looks
like leather, but is stronger and more durable. It doesn't crack or
scratch like biothane,. This harness can be used for training or the
show ring. It comes complete with an overcheck/sidecheck bridle, dee
shaped blinds, two tone reins, and choice of brass or chrome hardware.
There is biothane on the blinds to give a dressy look. This is an easy
maintenance harness as you just wipe it off.

Trimmed Betathane Harness
This harness is the same as the betathane
harness SLT 353 except it has a trim color on the browband, caveson
